Met Gala
With less than two months to prepare a look for Jackie Aina's attendance at the 2021 Met Gala, the team was put into full gear. This major fashion event held special significance as Jackie was the first Black content creator to attend the Met. As the theme was "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion," she sought to draw inspiration from the American Barbie and Halle Berry in BAPS, a film that greatly influenced her upbringing. The final look combined the iconic blonde wig from BAPS with a custom pink corset dress, merging both inspirations.

Numero Netherlands
Collaborating with two women I have admired since childhood made this project particularly meaningful. Our objective was to dress Aly and AJ in outfits that not only resonated with their individual styles but also complemented each other’s looks as sisters.

Cosmopolitan
Serving as the style assistant on the cover shoot for Cosmopolitan Indonesia featuring Emma Meyers was a privilege. As the assistant stylist but head stylist on set, there was immense gratitude for the trust and opportunity to bring our vision to life. The aim was to blend Emma's edgy yet semi-conservative style with elevated, formal looks, striking the right balance of elegance that Cosmopolitan desired while remaining true to Emma's personal aesthetic.

Wonderland
During the outdoor shoot for Wonderland, the objective was to create fun and diverse looks. The most challenging aspect was the frequent change of locations, requiring quick wardrobe changes in cars and chasing the sunlight. Despite these challenges, the team worked great together resulting in beautifully captured shots for this editorial.
